There are a lot of fun activities that your troop can add to their visit!
Your troop can explore hidden treasures of the Aquarium and visit with unique animals from around the world before camping out among amazing sea life.
Overnights can be booked as a private experience with your troop only, or on one of our open overnights where you can meet other troops.
It's Your Planet - Love It!
Newport Aquarium is now offering Brownies an opportunity to earn their first Leadership Award - LOVE Water - for their Wonders of Water badge set.
This Behind-The-Scenes Learning Experience will focus on Newport Aquarium's water filtration systems. Each Scout will be challenged to share two things she knows and loves about water. It will conclude with the group making a personal promise to commit to protect water habitats, climates and creatures, plus a presentation of the certificates of completion.

Pre-registration is required as least 30 days in advance and must be for a minimum of 15 people. Program is available year round and is subject to availability. Price is the same for scouts and accompanying adults. At least one adult required per troop

Badge Program Includes Aquarium Admission - $23.99 Per Scout
During Scouts Honor Weekend, Girl Scouts have the opportunity to participate in an activity to earn a badge.

Daisies earn a Clover Petal certificate of completion. Petals will not be provided by Newport Aquarium.

Brownies earn their Bug Badge. Badge will be provided by Newport Aquarium at the completion of the activity.

Juniors earn their Animal Habitat Badge. Badge will be provided by Newport Aquarium at the completion of the activity
Pre-registration is required to participate in the Badge Program and scouts must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Chaperones need to purchase a $13.99 admission ticket to attend.
Tickets for the badge program must be purchased in advance online. Space is limited as sessions will sell out.
Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Scouts will have the opportunity to complete steps towards various badges during Scouts Honor Weekend.
Self-guided worksheets will be provided to allow scouts to explore the aquarium and observe at their own pace, all while completing specific steps towards their badge completion *.
