Aquarium Policies

To help you ensure a more enjoyable visit, Newport Aquarium uses Timed Entry for Annual Passholders, Annual Members and General Admission Guests.

Pick your entry time and print your tickets at home or present your ticket on your mobile phone.

Strollers are permitted, but you will enjoy the aquarium experience more without one.

Newport Aquarium is fully accessible for our guests in wheelchairs and for those for whom steps are a challenge.

Guest Services also has a limited number of wheelchairs available (first come, first served) on loan at no cost for use during your visit. Segways are not permitted in the Aquarium.

Newport Aquarium does not allow any outside food or beverages, except bottled water, inside the building.

Food and Beverage items are available for purchase at Sharky’s Café.

Service animals are welcome inside Newport Aquarium, but no other animals are allowed.

Newport Aquarium is a family-oriented destination and small children are always visiting. For that reason, we ask you to avoid wearing any clothing with offensive language or images, or is inappropriate for a family atmosphere.

We reserve the right to ask you to change or cover your clothes. Guests who refuse will be asked to leave.

Newport Aquarium is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests.

For that reason, we cannot tolerate bad behavior.

Smoking, e-cigarettes, vaping and/or chewing tobacco is not permitted anywhere inside Newport Aquarium.
