African Penguin Awareness Day
Newport Aquarium is excited to announce its celebration of African Penguin Awareness Day on Tuesday, October 7! In honor of everyone’s favorite feathered friends, the aquarium is offering fun hands-on activities for all ages designed to inspire appreciation and educate guests about this Critically Endangered species.
Scheduled Events
Join us Tuesday, October 7, for a day full of African Penguin Awareness Day festivities starting at 11:00am in Penguin Palooza. Plus, guests will have the chance to write a letter or draw a picture to a penguin thanks to our conservation partner SANCCOB (the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds)! All African Penguin Awareness Day activities are included with admission.
