World Penguin Day is celebrated around the globe on April 25 and strives to bring awareness to the perils that everyone’s favorite feathered friends face every day. Penguins are one of the most threatened groups of seabirds and 10 out of the 18 species of penguins are considered endangered. On this day, we encourage you to learn more about penguins, the dangers they encounter, the threats to their environment and what you can do to help. Together, we can make a difference.
Join us for a day full of penguin activities beginning in the lobby at 10:00am where you can meet an African Penguin! The rest of the fun takes place in Penguin Palooza where you can learn all your feathered friends during informative sessions like meet the biologist, themed chats and more! World Penguin Day events are included FREE with an admission ticket or Membership!
