Newport Aquarium is dedicated to providing our guests with a safe, family-friendly, entertaining and educational experience.
Our policies have been developed to ensure that all guests can enjoy their visit to our facility. Please follow safety signage throughout the Aquarium.
To help ensure a more comfortable visit, Newport Aquarium used Timed Entry, where visitor choose a visit date and entry time.
Strollers are permitted, but you will enjoy the aquarium experience more without one.
Newport Aquarium is fully accessible for our guests in wheelchairs and for those for whom steps are a challenge.
Guest Services also has a limited number of wheelchairs available (first come, first served) on loan at no cost for use during your visit. Segways are not permitted in the Aquarium.
Newport Aquarium does not allow any outside food or beverages, except bottled water, inside the building.
Food and Beverage items are available for purchase at Sharky’s Café.
Newport Aquarium is a family-oriented destination and small children are always visiting. For that reason, we ask you to avoid wearing any clothing with offensive language or images, or is inappropriate for a family atmosphere.
We reserve the right to ask you to change or cover your clothes. Guests who refuse will be asked to leave.

The safety and well-being of our guests and employees are our top priority, so we have implemented a number of new safety measures based on the guidance of health officials including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.
For the safety of all guests and employees masks are required for all individuals ages 2 and older.
