The Riverside Room is the perfect place to begin your journey together. From the moment you arrive, to the moment you walk down the aisle together as one, you won’t have to worry about a thing.

The Riverside Room can hold up to 230 guests for your ceremony location. If you are looking for a beautiful venue for both a ceremony and reception, The Riverside Room at the Newport Aquarium will make all your dreams come true!

We can also host a beautiful ceremony in our Shark Ray Bay Theater which features a 16x20’ shark tank in the background!

Diver Officiated Weddings

Have your wedding officiated by an underwater diver for a wedding unlike any you've ever attended! It's completely unique and only available at Newport Aquarium.

Your ceremony will be performed by one of our certified scuba divers from inside the Surrounded By Sharks tank, complete with full audio and 2-way communication.

Watch Denver, Sweet Pea and all their friends as they swim around and help your officiant deliver a truly one-of-a-kind experience!

The Perfect Ambiance

Wedding Receptions

You’ll revel in the elegant charm and contemporary sophistication of The Riverside Room, carefully designed to inspire the most important day of your life. It can accommodate up to 240 guests for dinner and 350 for cocktail receptions.

Work with your event coordinator to create the perfect ambiance for your reception. Utilize the Aquarium Exhibits for cocktail hour or even add a playful African Penguin to your guest list and your wedding will be a unique celebration to remember forever.
