Mighty Mike Returns!
Get ready for the return of the biggest, baddest gator in the country outside of Florida. Mighty Mike was such a hit with visitors that we’re bringing him back here in March. He’ll be in a brand new space designed especially for him. And you!
At 800 pounds and 14 feet, he’s longer than most cars so we’re building a special exhibit where you can get eye-to-eye with this prehistoric model of survival. And that’s not all. Mighty Mike loved his first visit at the Aquarium so much, he’s bringing a special surprise to share with you.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

Join Newport Aquarium as we celebrate the theatrical release of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island starring local actor Josh Hutcherson! The first 500 kids to join the fun in the Newport Aquarium’s Theater will receive a Journey 2 activity book. Guests can also watch the official movie trailer on our theater’s big screen, play games and register-to-win* Journey 2 prizes.
*Drawing will be held at 3:45. Must be present to win.
Radio Disney Special Promotions
We’re proud of our ongoing relationship with Radio Disney because it lets us host themed events especially for kids and gives our guests a chance to win exciting prizes. The Radio Disney Road Crew turns our Theater into party central with music, dancing, games and giveaways and the fun is all free with admission to the Newport Aquarium.

You'll be amazed by dive shows, behind-the-scenes-tours and exclusive experiences like a Penguin Encounter where you can get so close to cute little African penguins you can pet them.
