The Penguin Proposal
These cute, tuxedoed groomsmen may not make it to the wedding, but they can still help you pop the question. Plan a memorable wedding proposal with the playful penguins of the Newport Aquarium. You and your bride-to-be will get an exclusive, 20-minute encounter with our African Penguins, who will crowd around her while you drop to one knee. The Penguin House can accommodate up to 12 guests. In addition to the experience, you will receive a beautiful Swarovski crystal penguin box where the ring can be hidden.

Engagement Photos
Looking for the perfect location for your engagement photos? Why not surround yourself against a backdrop of the most exotic aquatic life in the world? Have your engagement photos taken at the Newport Aquarium during a private session focused on your exciting announcement. You bring the photographer and we provide a breathtaking view of the Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River along with colorful Aquarium Exhibits. Engagement photos are a great way to personalize save-the-dates, wedding websites, and many more of your wedding details.

A Very Engaging Dive Show
A fun date to the aquarium becomes the surprise of her life when you join the audience for a seemingly normal dive show. After the dive show we will reveal a diver in the tank holding a sign that reads, "Will You Marry Me. The final step is simple -seal it with a kiss. Your special moment will take place in our theater Thursday-Sunday during our regularly scheduled dive shows.
We will include a photo of your proposal and can even customize a sign!

The Behind-the-Scenes Tour
The best way to follow up a one-of-a-kind tour of the aquarium is with a one-time-only moment in your lives. Come to the Newport Aquarium Monday-Sunday at 1pm for a 40-minute behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities. Then, when she least expects it, give her the highlight of the tour - a proposal she’ll never forget. Your private tour can accommodate up to 15 guests.
The Behind-The-Scenes Tour - $200.00
You’ll receive a discount, but admission tickets to the Aquarium must be purchased for everyone in your party. To ensure your proposal goes off without a hitch, details must be finalized two weeks prior to your event.
