Coral Reef

The fourth of our acrylic tunnels immerses you in the color and splendor of a coral reef environment. With approximately 60,000 gallons of seawater, this exhibit introduces you to colorful Tangs, playful Unicornfish and Honeycomb Moray Eel.

Aquarium Welcomes ‘Nosy’ Additions to Collection
The Newport Aquarium would like to introduce a new 'Nosy' addition, the Cownose Ray.  This is a species never-before-seen at Newport Aquarium. With their size – about 2 feet in wingspan for each ray – and the number of animals in the group, the cownose rays will dramatically change the look of the gallery.
