Penguin Encounters
This 20-minute experience allows guests to see nine Blackfooted penguins up-close and personal. Led by an experienced biologist, a typical visit may include a chance to touch the penguins, see them waddle, swim, shake their tails. Plus, photos are permitted to capture the memory forever. These South African birds live in a temperate environment in the behind-the-scenes Penguin House, so no coats are needed.

Cost: $25, all ages
Annual Passholder Price: $20
(Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

Times:  11 a.m., 11:30 a.m, 2 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m.  Daily

Encounters are limited. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes early for your Penguin Encounter.  The Encounters run on a strict schedule to allow the greatest amount of time for our guest experience.  Any late arrivals will forfeit their tickets for the Encounter.  Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.  Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
