Behind-the-Scenes Tours
Get an inside look at the Aquarium facility and learn what it takes to maintain a one million-gallon environment.  In a guided tour, you’ll see miles of pipes, explore how the animals are fed and visit the dive station and acclimation area.  You'll also learn more about our vet and water quality labs. From divers in fins to animals in transport – you never know what you’ll discover.  Everyday at the Aquarium is different; therefore, each Behind-the-Scenes Tour is unique, but it will be fun and educational no matter what day or time you choose to tour.

Cost: $15, all ages
Annual Passholder Price: $12

(Note: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult)

Tours are limited. Please be sure to arrive at least ten minutes early for your Behind-the Scenes Tour.  The tours run on a strict schedule to allow the greatest amount of time for our guest experience.  Any late arrivals will forfeit their tickets for the tour.  Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.  Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. You can purchase these experiences at the Newport Aquarium ticket window or by calling (859) 261-7444 anytime prior to the day of your visit.
